I am a Ph.D. student in the Department of Neurobiology at Duke University, studying how vision and hearing are integrated in the monkey brain.
Prior to this, I received a B.S. in Neuroscience and a B.S. in Cognitive Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University. Outside of the lab, I’m active in several science communication projects including writing, outreach, multimedia, and policy. Following graduation, I plan to pursue a career in one or more of these areas so that I can make science accessible to the public, particularly people who are less likely to be exposed to science as a career option. On my way toward this goal, I look forward to interacting with other science communicators and collaborating on innovative educational projects.
Collaborations & Opportunities
I’d be happy to collaborate on projects or explore new opportunities related to science communication for a variety of audiences. Please feel free to contact me if you know of or are seeking to collaborate on such opportunities.
